Author
Dr. Latha Christie is a Senior Scientist (retired)
who served for almost 38 years at MTRDC, DRDO,
Bangalore, where she pioneered advances in
microwave-related advanced technologies for
aerospace and electronic systems. She is an
interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection
of science, theology, and ethics. She holds
a B.E. (Hons.), an M.S., and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering
from IISc, Bangalore, an M Div from SABC, an M.A. in Christian
Studies, and an Executive Diploma in Project Management and Leadership,
and has submitted her Ph.D. thesis in Theology on the Ethical and
Theological Implications of Artificial General Intelligence.
After her career at DRDO, Dr. Christie founded Christie Global Consulting firm,
through which she speaks, writes, and advises on technology, AI ethics, leadership,
and human flourishing. She is also a certified Senior Life Coach and a certified counselor,
working with individuals and leaders on purpose, resilience, and inner healing. She is the author
of Beyond the Boundaries of Science, When the Flame Flickers, and two advanced technical books on
microwave engineering, and creator of The Grand Cosmic Story YouTube series. She also founded
the Deborah Rise Movement, which has empowered hundreds of women in emotional healing and leadership.
Her contributions have been recognized with awards including the WXN GAIL Global 100 Women
(Thought Leaders) Award, the WCW Tech Leaders Award (Women Changing the World), the Karnataka
Women Achiever Award, the Outstanding Women Leader Award, and multiple national and institutional honors.
